Le 29 novembre 2006, mounir fatmi et Marijn van Kreij ont été nommés vainqueurs du prix W.F.C. Prix Uriôt 2006.
Le prix Uriôt a été créé en 1957. Les trois membres du jury sont sélectionnés chaque année parmi des artistes internationaux, des conservateurs et d'autres spécialistes des arts. Le jury nomme indépendamment un artiste ou un groupe d'artistes dont le travail et le processus de travail peuvent être considérés comme exceptionnels et sans précédent. Le travail devrait offrir des pistes à développer dans une publication.
Les membres du jury en 2006 étaient:

• Martin Maloney, artiste, Londres / Royaume-Uni
• Cristina Ricupero, commissaire indépendante, Paris / FR.

On 29 of November 2006 mounir fatmi and Marijn van Kreij were named the winners of the W.F.C. Uriôt prize 2006.
The Uriôt prize was set up in 1957. The three jury members are annually selected from international artists, curators and others in the world of arts. The jury independently nominates an artist or a group of artists whose work and work process can be regarded as exceptional and unparalleled. The work should offer leads to be expanded upon in a publication.
The jury members in 2006 were:
